Cade returns to the SAFARI ZONE before long. His time the day previous had run out, but he wasn't done harvesting the bounty of Pokémon from this private reserve just yet. He'd found traces of FOMANTIS earlier, after all, and seen MAGIKARP leaping out of the river several times.

In order to track and catch both of these pokemon, the one-eyed blonde summoned his LIEPARD, KASHA. She would scout ahead as they walked through the forest. The mid-day sun shone bright through the canopies above.

The FOMANTIS summons a WEATHER BALL, waving its little petals about to form it before aggressively casting it off at the LIEPARD in the tree. Said Liepard pounces away from the hurricane-like explosion that follows, however. Landing in the bushes below, she remains in cover for a moment before leaping onto her target with a FURY SWIPES.

Tattered foliage rains down from the sky when the deed is done. Cade emerges from nearby with an empty ball in hand, then casts it at the fallen Fomantis.

A floating ghost with a single, glowing red eye made a perfect object of chase for a cat such as Kasha. And give chase she did! Cade nearly lost her in the chaos of it all.

The ghost, however, eventually escaped in a thick HAZE. Kasha didn't seem too bothered by the fact, however. She simply sat in a grass clearing and groomed herself until Cade finally caught up.

Kasha didn't like to get wet. But, when she saw a MAGIKARP leap out from the water, it triggered a primal instinct within her. She rushed into said river with reckless abandon, and Cade chased after her while retrieving an empty ball from his pack.

Just before the Magikarp could escape, it was hit with a SUCKER PUNCH. It opted, instead, to play dead in the water. Cade threw his ball, though, and it was sucked into a flash of light.

A funky monkey. Funky coloured, more like. Cade had never seen a GROOKEY with such a shade of green before. It was hardly noticeable, quite honest. But he'd seen them in the past.

Kasha sets upon it at an instant, and it hardly has a chance to raise its little stick defensively before she hits it with a SUCKER PUNCH. Cade feels a little guilty for the ape afterwards, quite frankly. But he pulls out an empty ball and taps it against its head anyway.
